    Our MD Anne Reilly received Runner Up in the Self Employed Business Woman category in the Network Ireland 2012 Business Awards last Friday.Congratulations Anne, fantastic achievement.

    Drogheda, Friday, 28th September 2012:   Network Ireland, the organisation for women in business, professions and the arts, is delighted to announce the winners of this year’s Business Women of The Year Awards.   The awards were presented at the National Conference and Awards dinner in The d Hotel, Drogheda by tv presenter Sybil Mulcahy.Network Ireland provides a forum where women in business, the professions and the arts can exchange business ideas and increase their business contacts. The event is supported by Enterprise Ireland Female Entrepreneurship programme, Louth County Enterprise and the Sunday Business Post.  The Women’s Fund at The Community Foundation for Ireland is the Network Ireland Charity of the Year 2012.

    Natasha Lynch, Managing Director Essential French in Cork was named Self Employed Business Woman of the Year while Edel McCabe , PR & Marketing Manager from Naas Racecourse was judged to be Employed Business Woman of the Year.   Aileen Rogers, Founder & Owner of The Ready Girls in Dublin was presented with the award for Business Woman of The Year with a new business.

    The runners up were Deirdre O’Shaughnessy, Editor, the Cork Independent (Employed),  Anne Reilly, Managing Director, Paycheck Plus, Dunleer (Self Employed)) and Siobhan Stenson, Owner/Director, Cherry Blossom Bakery, Mayo (New Business).

    Cystic Fibrosis campaigner Orla Tinsley was presented with the Trish Murphy Award which recognises and celebrates an outstanding member of the community who have made significant contributions that have positively impacted their community.  Trish Murphy was a past Network Ireland Dublin Branch President who contributed significantly to the organisation and also to charity. She passed away in 2010 at the age of 53 from cancer.  The award was first presented in 2011.

    Twenty two finalists from across Ireland were interviewed for the Network Ireland Business Women of the Year Awards earlier this month.  The Judges, Lorna Cooney from Meath Enterprise Board, Siobhan Woods from Coca-Cola International Services and Graham Hughes from Outsource Support Services took two half days with their deliberations at the d Hotel in Drogheda.
